Pioneer Forecarts

Originally built for horse farmers and now used extensively for training, exercising horses,  pleasure driving or what we call toolie crashing (off road).  These carts will go most anywhere!

They are versatile and have lots of options! And in 3 sizes!

The Standard Cart comes with either the Implement seat (as in picture) or bench seat; and 15" rims & tires or steel tires.  All other options need to be ordered separately.

Three Sizes

  • Standard Cart - by far the most popular model.  Use for general farm work, training, exercising and all around driving.

  •     Heavy Duty Cart  -Recommended when using steel wheels.  For heavy-duty use and tough demanding tasks.  Built the same as the standard cart except it has heavier spindles, 6-bolt hubs and wheels

  •     Haflinger Size Cart- For smaller horses.  We suggest you order the 8280 Guard and 8266 tongue.

  • Or smaller pony size chassis 51" wide (outside tires); length adjustment from axle to axle 66" to 96".

Classic bed.

The Pioneer 3-ton wagon. This is a medium size wagon designed for horses and mules.  Perfect for light to medium size horses for utility work, pleasure driving or trail rides.  May be used for a single horse, team or tractor. Also available  with optional canvas top.  Ideal for wagon train rides.

Utility bed.

Coach bed

The Pioneer Utility bed can come in 11 foot beds or smaller sizes for ponies.  It has one seat, cushion, 10 inch high side boards and flare board; making it ideal for hauling hay, produce, firewood, etc. 

Trailway bed

The Pioneer Utility bed can come in 11 foot beds, 12 foot  beds or smaller sizes for ponies.  It has one seat up front with cushion, two benches in the back for passengers, easy-entry steps on the side and rear,  20 inch high side boards and flare board and hinged end gate; making it ideal for parades, rides etc.  You can also order cushions for the seats in the back.

Box bed

The Pioneer Box bed comes with either a mechanical brake lever or hydraulic brake pedal, spring mounted seat and rear end gates.  The Box is 38" wide and 10 foot long.  Over all length with footboard and rear scoop extension is 12 feet.  A great typical farm wagon style.
